Congratulations to all four members of our VI Mixed Pairs team – Julie, Jamie, Steffan and John – on winning Commonwealth Games bronze! 
A special mention to Steffan James, who held his nerve to play the match-winning shot on the final end. What a moment!
Having only taken up the sport three years ago, Steffan is now a Commonwealth Games bronze medallist. An incredible achievement and one to be immensely proud of.
Congratulations also to Julie Thomas, who has now won a medal at all three Commonwealth Games she has competed in – a remarkable achievement.
Also a mention for Anwen, who took on the manager’s role from the sidelines throughout the competition, while John directed on the green.
