𝗖𝗪𝗚 𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗗 𝗢𝗙𝗙 & 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗦𝗛 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦 𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗙 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗘

Last night, the Welsh Commonwealth Games Team came together for a Send-Off Evening at the Parkgate Hotel in Cardiff.

Throughout the evening, Chief de Mission Gethin Jones hosted a series of interviews with panels of athletes, coaches and influential figures from across Welsh sport, reflecting on the journey to the Commonwealth Games and the strength of Team Wales.

Following the speeches, interviews and dinner, Anwen Butten MBE was officially inducted into the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame. In recognition of her outstanding bowling career and her incredible contribution to the sport, Anwen becomes the 219th person to be added to the Hall of Fame Roll of Honour.

After spending 24 hours back in Cardiff for the occasion, Anwen heads back to Ayr for the British International Series this morning.
